Lenovo launched The New Technology Concept Charging from Solar- the first laptop will now be charged from sunlight.

Lenovo has introduced the Yoga Solar Laptop Concept; it is the first laptop in history to run on solar power. A Lenovo is a technology company based in China and is well-known worldwide. This innovative device aims to reduce reliance on traditional power sources and strike a balance between environmental impact and progress. A key feature is its ability to automatically recharge using solar energy, like sunlight.

Yoga Solar Laptop features:

  • The Yoga Solar Laptop is equipped with 84 high-efficiency solar cells integrated into its lid; this allows the laptop to convert ambient light into battery power.
  • Lenovo Solar technology allows the laptop to stay powered on by charging from direct sunlight or even low light.
  • Lenovo Yoga Dynamic Solar Tracking system, which monitors solar energy intake in real-time and adjusts battery consumption to optimize solar charging efficiency rate 24%.

Display & Design: 14-inch Wide Ultra (WU) OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 accurate color reproduction gamut coverage. 1.22Kg Lightweight, 15mm in thickness, sleek and portable design

Battery Life: 50.2 Wh battery. Lenovo’s solar technology allows the laptop to convert 20 minutes of direct sunlight into approximately one hour of video playback.

Performance & Storage: The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, complemented by integrated Intel graphics. RAM Up to 32Gb and 1 TB of SSD storage, providing robust performance for multitasking and storage-intensive applications, it ensures smooth operation.

Ports and Connectors: Three USB Type-C ports with USB 4.0 Version support with fast data transfer and versatile connectivity options.

 Audio and Camera: The laptop is equipped with four speakers and four microphones, delivering immersive audio and clear communication, a 2MP of infrared (IR) camera for secure facial recognition.

Release Date & Purchase: As of now the Lenovo yoga Solar Laptop is currently only a concept not available at market, and no formal information about release date and full specifications.
